central Alaska region. With 4 locations the Credit Union formerly Northern
Schools FCU is expanding beyond their historical market. The Accounting

Serve as a consultant to the CEO and CFO of the company to assist in the
transition from their old Production/Financial computer system to their
new Production/Financial computer system. The new system is Open Solution
Inc.’s (OSI) TCCUS, FAS, CCM and C-View Financial Services Software

Assist VP of Operations by helping her merge the new Operations System
with her day to day operations process. This would include but not be
limited to: System Configuration, Process Troubleshooting (computer and
people aspects), Interfacing with Accounting and Credit Management Systems,
Development of new procedures, Staff Training.

Assist CFO by documenting procedures for the new production and financial
software and train staff to become familiar with the new way of doing
business. Duties include but are not limited to accounts payable, asset
liability management (ALM), fixed asset management, account reconciliation,
financial reporting and analysis, process automation and re-engineering.

Provide training to staff of all departments in the use of work flow
acceleration tools. This includes utilization of the proprietary reporting
system tied to their new Production System.

Manage approximately a $6 million dollar annual budget, which was part of the effort to
redesign the organizations operations (claims processing) software.

Manage a staff of 20-40 contractors and employees in the project life cycle of the 2 IT development
projects listed in the bullet above. This includes: Gathering of scope and requirements, development
of Functional Specifications, Development of Design Documents, Coding, Unit testing, Internal
Integrated testing, delivery and support of functioning product to the companies pre implementation
testing organization.

Act as primary conduit between my staff and the Upper Management team by presenting status
and demonstrations to Directors and the Chief Information Officer.

Work as liaison to re-engineering team to design a hot implementation, due to the nature of
the system we could not go down for more than 1 day, a modular implementation scheme was utilized.

FFIC software project at that time.

- Interviewed team members to synchronize the schedule with the actual effort underway. Developed
summary rollup scheme which allowed easy upper management reporting based on CPM. Upper management
mandated that the schedule I developed be used by both business and technical teams for the
remainder of the project. Facilitated, project planning meetings until product rollout.
- Coordinated several requirements gathering and JAD sessions where industry professionals were
brought in from the field to contribute to the design of the new operations software.
- Performed role as primary liaison with corporate process control unit during the roll out of a
new corporate wide Project Management system. The new system used a methodology planning technique
(LBMS) in conjunction with a new project management planning system (Primavera).
- Introduced formal requirements gathering techniques into the existing requirements gathering
process. This resulted in the production of a comprehensive hierarchical listing of all the
requirements in a single indexed document. As a result a perceived manpower shortage vanished.

this effort I was able to control what features were added
to this product, resulting in a product that out performed
Microsoft Project.

- Reverse engineered and recovered Assembly code written
by former lead programmer who left the company after
sabotaging his code base. 100% recovery of thousands
of lines of code.
- Developed the system design for three new products.
Process included: Scheduling the product, coordinating
the production of the prototype, writing system software,
testing, and developing the system documentation.
- Co-developed an information system that tied the CAD
system and parts list system and linked that information
into a database of known vendors.
- Wrote software to allow diagnostics to be run on food
processing units over the phone lines, reducing field
travel by over 30%.
- Converted old Intel 8080 and 8085 assembly code to make
use of work that had been developed by software engineers
who had left the company.
