BUS 150 3.0 Units - Supervision and Management

Course Work and Homework: If you have a computer you can do your homework at home. However, working at home is not an excuse for not getting your assignments done. I am in the lab (KTD) and classroom (IVC) for several hours each week (See Schedule). If you are working at home and start to fall behind, work in the lab while I am there or come see me before class !! All homework assignments are due the week after they are listed above. Late assignments lose 10% of their value for each week they are late. Reading should be done before the class they are listed for above. All assignments and several other useful items can be found on my website at http://www.nicoleanddebbie.com/classes


GRADING POLICY
Your grade in this class is determined by: your assignments, quizzes and the exam at the end of the class.
Homework Assignments 25 Percent of your Grade 5 p.m. Friday, December 4th is the deadline for submitting Homework Assignments -- except the final assignment.
Online Quizzes 25 Percent of your Grade 5 p.m. Friday, December 4th is the deadline for submitting Online Quizzes.
Midterm Exam 25 Percent of your Grade All students must take the Midterm & Final exam in person on the IVC Campus.
Final Exam 25 Percent of your Grade All students must take the Midterm & final exam in person on the IVC Campus.
This is a closed book exam.
You may bring any notes YOU HAVE CREATED to help you out.

GRADING POLICY: You may take this class for either a letter grade or pass/no pass. You must declare your intent to take this course P/NP when enrolling, otherwise you will receive a letter grade.

My way of assigning quizzes is to: I can either use the normal process of taking a quiz, or use my way. If using my way you will need to remember to take the quizzes within the 2 week time frame. Quizzes CANNOT be re-activated so please DON'T EVEN ASK !!

CHEATING WARNING: You are allowed to refer to your textbook, notes, and returned homework assignments when taking the chapter online quizzes. While the instructor has no objection to and, in fact encourages you to work with other students on the assigned homework, wholesale copying of someone else's work will be not be tolerated. If you are observed using any material other than your own one page printout on the Final Exam, you will receive a score of zero for the test.
